THE JOB

The Tabernacle is seeking a VIP Host to drive a premium hospitality experience. This is a part-time, seasonal position.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Welcomes guests as they enter the Vinyl Room, pavilion, and other premium areas
  • Scans tickets, issues wristbands/credentials as guests enter the venue
  • Serves as a resource of information for all Guests regarding their experience within both the lounges and music areas
  • Assists in different aspects of the VIP/Premium Services experience - including the Vinyl Room, decks, pavilion/box seats and parking lot.
  • Assists guests regarding the timing of the supporting acts and headliner acts
  • Provides assistance to all positions and communicating effectively with others to enhance guest experience
  • Maintains contact with Manager, Bar Staff, and Server regarding the arrival of all guests
  • Constant observation of lounge area, upholding the ambiance of the lounge or seating section
  • Anticipates guests' needs and providing superior service
  • Exhibits articulate vocabulary with the ability to adapt and socialize with audience
  • Ability to perform duties of the position in a professional manner and appearance

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of high-end operations, seating procedures, guest relations, problem solving
  • Skill in diplomacy, handling multiple tasks, verbal skills, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs and lifting and carrying 30+ pounds
