Job description

Job Title: VIP Ambassador (varied shifts)

Department: Player Development

Reports To: Player Development Manager/Vice- President

Summary

Under the direction of the PD Manager/VP of PD, the VIP Ambassador will serve as a liaison between the VIP guest, the host team and the resort to ensure delivery of the highest level of guest service to Talking Stick Resort and Casino Arizona VIP guests. This will be achieved by assisting hosted and VIP level guests in a timely manner when they are at our property or calling in for assistance with booking rooms, making restaurant reservations, inquiring about comps, events or any other activities. This job will require the employee to exude exceptional professional abilities including the ability to book trips and events, let the guest know about future events and to help sell the next trip. This employee must have strong organizational abilities to communicate with PD team members as well as with all other teams at the properties. Sales skills are also an important plus for this position.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Build loyalty among our valued VIP customers by providing exceptional and timely service.
  • Arrange hotel, restaurant, transportation, room amenities, golf and spa reservations and other needs for the satisfaction of our VIP guests.
  • Providing comps for guests based on their play and our comp policies within your approved limits.
  • Assist host team as needed to provide the best possible guest service to their VIP guests.
  • Coordinate as needed with other team members and management to lead to successful delivery of services offered to our VIP guests.
  • Responds to and consistently meets the needs of our VIPS.
  • Supports and cultivates any new ideas and methods to deliver the best service possible to our VIP guests.
  • Pass down pertinent information regarding VIPS to the PD team at the end of your shift.
  • Telemarking duties to fill events as assigned by PD management.
  • Handwriting welcome letters to new guests weekly as assigned by PD management.
  • Printing player cards for VIP guests as needed.
  • Work PD and special events as assigned by PD management.
  • Complete tasks as assigned through our CRM system.
  • Responsible for the enforcement of all applicable regulations, under the code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, as it pertains to this position. This includes, but is not limited to, observing and reporting suspicious activity, of either customers or employees, as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, by attending Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering training,provided by Casino Arizona, at least once a year or more if required by management and outlined in the Title 31 Minimum Internal Controls.

Education and/or Experience

  • GED or high school diploma
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have excellent PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
