Position Overview

Saint Vincent Orthopedic and Sports is actively seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Goldenrod, Florida. Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient office located in Goldenrod, Florida, allowing for a community-focused approach to physical therapy. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address various impairments, pain, and musculoskeletal dysfunctions, in alignment with physician prescriptions.
• Administer hands-on therapy techniques including therapeutic exercises, traction, and manual therapy to aid in client recovery.
• Evaluate clients through diagnostic testing of muscle, nerve, and joint functions to establish a baseline and monitor progress.
• Oversee the work of Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring they execute treatment plans effectively and safely.
• Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and financial documentation, using EMR software.
• Assess the home environment for rehabilitation needs and recommend adaptations to enhance the independence of clients.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care, address challenges, and optimize treatment strategies.
• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families regarding the physical therapy process and effective management of conditions.
• Maintain compliance with temporal documentation, following branch policies for patient visits and therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client base, including individuals recovering from surgery, acute injuries, chronic pain conditions, and those seeking to enhance athletic performance. Our focus is on fostering holistic recovery, ensuring that each client feels supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Florida without any history of sanctions.
• Demonstrated expertise in a range of manual therapy techniques and exercise programming.
• Proficiency in documentation, specifically utilizing EMR systems such as WebPT.
• Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with the latest evidence-based physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting preferred.
• Familiarity with community resources for patient rehabilitation and recovery.
• Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced staff members.

Compensation and Benefits

Saint Vincent Orthopedic and Sports offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
