• Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers to develop and implement effective discharge planning services.
• Complete required statistical reports to monitor services rendered and patient outcomes, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with the Department of Correction to facilitate access to patients, guide treatment processes, and secure appropriate housing.
• Develop and lead group treatment sessions for mental health observation units and other assigned areas, providing patients with a safe space to share and heal.
• Conduct mental health evaluations, assessments, and crisis interventions to address immediate client needs.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision with your designated Clinical Supervisor, participating in discussions about complex cases and personal development at least once a week.
• Participate in mental health and medical rounds and contribute to case conferences that focus on treatment planning for current and prospective mental health patients.
• Document all clinical interactions meticulously, ensuring all treatment activities align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct psychological testing as necessary and supervise social work interns or student volunteers, fostering the development of future professionals.
• Determine necessary dispositions for patients, coordinating the appropriate level and type of mental health care in collaboration with other healthcare providers.

The primary focus of this position is on children and adolescents who are navigating mental health challenges during their formative education years. • A master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.
