Job description

Title: Videographer/ Photographer

Location: APG, MD

Responsibilities:

  • Proven professional shooting experience.
  • Knowledge of photography and videography techniques.
  • Archives images and organizes files.
  • Ability to work closely with graphics and public affairs teams to understand specifications and develop concepts to create visual narratives.
  • Proficient with operation and maintenance of traditional and modern equipment. Shooting, lighting and printing skills.
  • Must be able to prepare and edit video content for broadcast, web, social media and other applications, including ability to adjust sound/color, add after effects, cut segments, etc.
  • Strong understanding of timing, pacing and storytelling in animation.
  • A secret security clearance is required.

Education/Experience:

  • bachelor’s degree in graphic design, photography, videography, art, advertising or a related field.
  • A minimum of four (4) years' experience in the field of photography, videography, video editing or related fields.
  • Substitution: Additional years' experience and portfolio can be substitute for degree and field of study.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premier, After Effects, Edius, Lightroom, Photoshop, Capture One or other photography/videography and editing specific software.
  • Portfolio of work may be requested.
  • A secret security clearance is required.
