What will I Do?
You will work for one of Utah's most recognizable sports + entertainment brands, with a great team, creating lasting memories for our guests and fans!
The Video and Motion Producer is a multi-disciplinary, creative powerhouse responsible for the end-to-end production of engaging video content and high-quality motion graphics. Reporting to the Senior Design Manager this role blends video production with animation to support social media, digital marketing campaigns, broadcast, and in-venue displays across all MSE properties. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller and technical self-starter who can translate marketing, brand, and partner objectives into compelling visual narratives. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. The position will:

  • Operate professional video cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage in-studio and on-location.
  • Attend live events, matches, or company activities to capture and produce timely, engaging, and high-energy content.
  • Edit raw footage into polished, high-impact final products, integrating professional color correction, sound design, and audio mixing.
  • Animate and deliver top-tier motion graphics, title cards, lower thirds, and visual effects for digital platforms, social media, and large-format screens.
  • Partner with the Creative Director, marketing, digital, and partnership teams to brainstorm innovative video and motion concepts aligned with promotional goals.
  • Manage the workflow, scheduling, and delivery specifications for completed video and motion content across all in-house, stadium, or theater screens.
  • Create targeted video and motion assets that maximize partner exposure and fulfill contractual sponsorship deliverables.
  • Organize, back up, and maintain a comprehensive library of raw footage, graphics, project files, and completed brand assets.
  • Other duties as assigned

What are the requirements of the Job?

  • 2+ years of proven professional experience as a Video Producer, Motion Graphic Designer, or a heavily blended multimedia role.
  • A strong, professional video reel and/or motion design portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual storytelling and animation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Film Production, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on industry experience).
  • Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator). Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of current video production techniques, camera gear, lighting setups, video codecs, formats, and delivery specifications optimized for various social, web, and broadcast platforms.
  • Experience drafting on-brand scripts and developing storyboards for brand initiatives, internal training, and sponsor deliverables.
  • Proven ability to manage shoot logistics, including generating shot lists, preparing technical equipment, securing props, and coordinating schedules.
  • Capability to effectively direct talent, internal staff, and interviewees during production to achieve specific creative objectives.
  • Proven ability to multitask, manage multiple video projects simultaneously, and respect tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation for travel to on-location video shoots and events.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to exemplifying the company's core values of Integrity, Hard Work, Stewardship, and Service.
