Job Summary:
Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a talented Video Operations Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity. The role involves managing video operations, monitoring service health, supporting deployments, and troubleshooting production issues.
Responsibilities:
• Manage video operations (authentication, onboarding, VOD, DVR, entitlements, channel lineup, caching, metadata)
• Monitor service health, alerts, dashboards for performance & availability
• Support production deployments, releases, and post-deployment validation
• Troubleshoot complex production issues (video delivery, middleware, customer access)
• Validate data flows across customer systems, middleware, and video platforms
• Deploy and support backend services on AWS & containers
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure issue resolution
• Conduct capacity planning & scalability assessments
Qualifications:
Required:
• Video streaming platforms & backend video services
• Monitoring tools: Splunk, Datadog, ELK
• AWS Cloud
• Docker, Kubernetes (containerized services)
