Social Media Content Creator

Remote (Austin, TX Area Preferred but not necessary)
$35 to $40/hour - DOE
Part-Time Contract | 10 Hours per Week
Contract Duration: 06/12/2026 – 09/12/2026

We are partnering with a fast-paced digital media and real estate technology organization seeking a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Content Creator to support brand growth and engagement across major social platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who lives and breathes social media trends, enjoys storytelling through short-form content, and can turn data and news into highly engaging social posts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging short-form videos and social graphics for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, and Threads

  • Transform long-form articles, housing trends, and market insights into digestible social content

  • Develop platform-specific content strategies optimized for engagement and reach

  • Stay current on trending sounds, memes, creator trends, and internet culture

  • Write compelling hooks, captions, and on-screen copy designed to drive engagement

  • Edit and tailor video and graphic content for multiple social platforms

  • Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm and execute creative social campaigns

  • Monitor content performance using analytics and optimize based on engagement insights

Qualifications
  • Proven experience creating social-first content for brands or media organizations

  • Strong video editing and graphic design skills

  • Proficiency with tools such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Canva, CapCut, Figma, or similar

  • Experience using social media analytics platforms including Meta Business Suite, Sprinklr, or related tools

  • Deep understanding of platform-specific audience behavior and content performance

  • Comfortable appearing on camera and creating video content

  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills tailored for social audiences

  • Strong awareness of current social media trends and digital culture

Preferred
  • Experience creating content related to lifestyle, media, real estate, or consumer brands

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, collaborative environment

  • Strong creative instincts with a data-driven mindset
