Salary: $30 an hour

Video QC Assistant:
The Video QC Assistant helps ensure that Dropout content is delivered at the highest standard of technical and creative quality. This role assists in maintaining the consistency, accuracy, and accessibility of video and caption outputs.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Video QC Assistant assists in the review and approval process of final video deliverables, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with accessibility standards. Working closely with the QC Assistant, this role supports efficient, error-free content delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review video deliverables for technical accuracy (audio sync, codecs, captions, exports).
  • Flag and document quality issues, providing clear notes for corrections and verifying updated versions.
  • Track content through the delivery workflow with data entry
  • Coordinate QC timelines with Post and Distribution teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Review captioning work and accessibility compliance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years experience in digital video production or asset management.
  • Very high attention to detail, ability to identify visual and audio errors.
  • Understanding of video/audio specs, codecs, and export processes.

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with improv comedy content or tabletop roleplaying games terminology.
  • Proficiency with workflow tools (Airtable).

DURATION: 5 Weeks; Possibility of extension

START DATE: 7/13/26

WRAP DATE: 8/14/26

HOURLY RATE: $30/hour (Capped at 20 hours weekly)
