POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator drives member awareness, engagement, and club pride through creative marketing, consistent brand storytelling, and effective digital communications. This role manages the club's content across all channels, from social media and email to signage and the website, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the energy, character and pride of Palm Valley Country Club.


MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

  • Coordinate all member-facing communications, including weekly emails, newsletters, digital signage, mobile app messaging, and printed collateral.
  • Gather seasonal content from all departments, write compelling copy, and promote upcoming club programs and offerings.
  • Design and produce promotional materials (flyers, posters, table tents, cart signs, and other collateral) using Canva or similar tools, ensuring professional presentation and timely distribution throughout the clubhouse.
  • Maintain and refresh all promotional materials and signage; remove expired displays promptly.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors on printed materials, signage, and photography/videography as needed.
  • Assist with developing and executing marketing strategies to increase member participation in dining, golf, racquets, fitness, and other club programs.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all member and guest-facing communications and marketing channels.
  • Lead the club's social media presence on Facebook and Instagram to promote club life, recognize members and team members, and strengthen community engagement.
  • Manage a social media content calendar; monitor engagement and track performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and inform future content strategy.
  • Capture photos and short-form video content of amenities, member activities, and team members for use across all marketing channels.
  • Maintain communication schedules, marketing timelines, and an organized archive of marketing assets
  • Attend weekly clubhouse management meetings to stay aligned with club operations, upcoming programs, and departmental priorities.

WEBSITE & DIGITAL CONTENT MANAGEMENT

  • Maintain the club's website, mobile app, online activities calendar, and member portal with current events, announcements, menus, and relevant information.
  • Ensure all digital content is accurate, timely, and aligned with club priorities and brand standards.
  • Monitor digital engagement metrics and recommend improvements to communication and content strategies.
  • Segment the member email database to deliver targeted, relevant communications to appropriate audiences.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field is strongly preferred and may be substituted with equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a private club environment preferred
  • Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Suite, as well as website, email, and content management platforms.
  • Experience managing social media accounts in a professional or brand capacity; photography and videography experience a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling content for diverse audiences.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new platforms quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized; able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Exceptional attention to detail is a must.
  • Solid time management, organization, and prioritization skills; ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Professional appearance and manner required; a gracious, outgoing attitude and the ability to interact warmly with diverse groups of members, guests, and team members is essential.
  • Positive, team-oriented personality with a genuine enthusiasm for the club and its community.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with club management software a plus.


WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE

  • Full-time, 40–48 hours per week depending on club activity and seasonality.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required, particularly during peak season (October through April).
  • Primarily office-based with frequent on-site involvement throughout the clubhouse and grounds.
