Job description

Creative Direct is looking for an inโ€‘house Video Editor to join our creative team. Youโ€™ll work directly with our strategists and producers to turn raw footage into polished, high-impact video content for political and campaign advertising. This is a handsโ€‘on, fast-paced role suited to an editor whoโ€™s comfortable juggling multiple projects and tight turnarounds without sacrificing quality.

Salary Range: Starting at $75,000, commensurate with experience

What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Edit TV-ready ads from raw footage through final post-production, including color correction, audio mixing, and graphics integration
  • Produce and resize content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), adapting aspect ratios, pacing, and captions for each platform
  • Collaborate with producers and strategists to translate creative direction and campaign messaging into finished video
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines tied to campaign and news cycles
  • Organize and maintain project files, footage libraries, and version control for active and archived projects
  • Add graphics, lower thirds, captions, and basic motion elements as needed
  • Ensure all deliverables meet technical specs for broadcast, digital, and social distribution
What weโ€™re looking for:
  • 1-3 years of professional video editing experience (agency, campaign, news, or inโ€‘house creative team experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or comparable tools)
  • A strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and message clarity, especially under shortโ€‘form time constraints
  • Experience formatting and resizing content for multiple platforms and aspect ratios
  • Comfort working with captions/subtitles and basic motion graphics
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several projects at once
  • Ability to take direction and feedback well, and update quickly
  • A reel or links to creative samples youโ€™ve produced (required with application)
  • Some light camera/shooting experience preferred, but not required
  • Interest in politics and campaigns is a plus, but not required
We value our team members and pride ourselves on a great work environment and these benefits:
  • Employee Health Insurance coverage at 100%
  • Dental and vision insurance; Available at a discount
  • Paid vacation
  • 401(k) with annual corporate contribution
