Our headquarters are in Golden Valley, MN, with soccer operations based at the MNUFC Training Center in Blaine. Position: The Security Operations Supervisor is part of the Stadium Operations department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.
Position Summary:
The Security Operations Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for coordinating and overseeing day-to-day safety and security operations at Allianz Field. This position acts as a tactical leader for stadium security, assists in the administration of technology systems, and supports the planning and implementation of staffing, surveillance, and emergency protocols. This role ensures a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and players during all events and non-event days.

What You'll Do: Security Operations & Oversight
  • Lead and conduct security briefings
  • Monitor and enforce standard operating procedures
  • Conduct/assist with perimeter checks and respond to calls for service
  • Conduct/assist with Security Operations Center duties
  • Supervise and audit contract security staff for professionalism, process compliance, and performance
Technology & Systems Management
  • Maintain working knowledge of the Genetec Security Center and Envoy, coordinating updates, and troubleshooting with IT and vendors
  • Monitor camera feeds during shift and large events for real-time situational awareness and support
  • Assist with minor video review requests and product performance evaluations
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office 365 products including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel
Event Staff & Planning
  • Aid in coordinating seasonal tabletop exercises and red-team drills to test emergency response readiness
Training & Development
  • Assist in the creation and facilitation of internal training for 24/7 security staff and future security supervisors
  • Help design and implement in-house audit programs to evaluate current security operations and identify areas for improvement
Administrative Support
  • Track security trends, produce event debrief reports, and provide input on improvements or emerging risks
  • Provide coverage support as assigned, allowing senior security leaders flexibility for higher risk duties
What You'll Bring:
  • Experience: 3+ years in security leadership or operations, experience in a stadium, arena, or venue working with sports security protocols preferred
  • Leadership: Experience coordinating shifts and supervising staff
  • Systems: Working knowledge of security systems such as Genetec or similar platforms, and screening tools such as OPENGATE a plus
  • Training Development: Previous experience delivering emergency response and crisis management training
  • Communication: Clear communicator who understands how to collaborate across teams, serving as a liaison with law enforcement
Requirements:
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds as needed, standing and walking for long periods of time
  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Valid driver's license
Compensation and Benefits: Minnesota United FC values the contributions of our team members and is committed to transparency in our compensation practices. The compensation range for this full-time (non-exempt) role is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.
