Job description

MDG is hiring! We are seeking an experienced Content Strategy Manager to join the team.

Currently, we follow a hybrid schedule with remote work on Mondays and Fridays, and in-office work Tuesday through Thursday at our Boca Raton, Florida location. Our scheduled working hours are 9am-6pm on all work days.


We are looking for a Content Strategy Manager with 3-5 years of experience to build and operate a high-performance content engine for MDG and its clients, own the voice and narrative of the MDG brand, and drive measurable results across social media, web, audio, and video channels.

This role requires a blend of creative instinct and strategic thinking across content formats and platforms. The candidate must be fluent in social media strategy and execution, UGC-style video production, influencer and podcast partnership development, and community management. They will know how to build content that connects developing platform-native creative, curating compelling stories, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate ideation and production. The Content Strategy Manager will support the VP, Strategy in shaping MDG's thought leadership presence while serving as the day-to-day content lead across client engagements, proactively identifying opportunities to grow and deepen each relationship.

Content Strategy & Social Execution
• Build and operate a clear, scalable, KPI-driven content engine informed by client and agency strategic goals, executed primarily across social media with extension into website, audio, and paid media.
• Support the VP, Strategy in owning the voice and narrative of MDG’s thought leadership and overall social media presence.
• Build and maintain integrated content calendars aligned with client priorities, product launches, and cultural moments.
• Leverage Canva (or other similar design tools) and a partnership with the internal Creative team (as needed) to create compelling, platform-native social media content.
• Curate content including articles, images, videos, and infographics to leverage across the social strategy.
• Copywriting including conversion-optimized content, social SEO copy, and ad copy that translates brand voice into platform-tailored work.
• Implement platform-specific best practices across Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Community-building and moderation across client channels: answer comments, prompt engagement, escalate issues, and maintain community standards.
• Respond to and manage client reviews on channels such as Google, Yelp, and Facebook.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate content creation, ideation, production, and deployment across MDG and client channels.
• Provide regular reporting on organic social KPIs, content ROI, and channel-specific performance; translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Utilize social media management and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr).
• Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and AI-enabled media; bring timely recommendations to clients and internal teams.
Video & Partnership Development
• Lead UGC-style short-form video production end-to-end (concept, scripting, filming, editing, and publishing) optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other video-forward platforms.
• Build and execute an influencer and podcast partnership strategy across micro, mid-tier, and macro creators, including sourcing, vetting, outreach, briefing, contracting, and rights management.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key bloggers, creators, podcast hosts, and influencers in client industries.
• Oversee creator production to ensure deliverables meet creative standards, brand voice, and timelines.
• Source and operationalize AI-assisted production tools that expand what one person (and one team) can ship.
MDG Brand Voice
• Be the driving force behind how the MDG brand shows up in web, social, and audio channels.
• Partner with subject matter experts and the executive team to develop relevant, timely, and insightful content that establishes MDG’s point of view.
• Define and maintain a consistent brand voice and editorial standard across all MDG-owned channels.
• Build and run the editorial calendar that translates leadership perspective and agency capability into a steady drumbeat of thought leadership content.
• Oversee use and management of AI tools to generate, and in some cases deploy, content on behalf of MDG and client engagements.


Requirements
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in social media strategy, content marketing, community management, and/or creator/influencer partnerships.
• Hands-on experience producing UGC-style video from concept through edit.
• Agency experience strongly preferred.
Core Skills
• Exceptional copywriting and storytelling ability across short- and long-form formats.
• Strong video production skills including filming, editing, and publishing UGC-style and branded short-form content.
• Deep knowledge of major social platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and Snapchat.
• Fluency in social analytics and reporting; ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
• Proficiency with SMMS tools such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Falcon.io, or Sprout Social.
• Outstanding organizational skills; ability to manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to adapt voice and tone for diverse audiences.
AI & Technology Proficiency
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate content creation, ideation, production, and deployment.
• Experience with ElevenLabs, HeyGen, NanoBanana, Canva, Figma, and Claude is preferred.
