Reportsto:Store Manager (Exempt)
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities
• Directly supervise the Department Leads, MODS and Departmental Staff: communicate performance expectations, train to expectations, provide feedback, evaluate/review performance, recognize and address performance achievements and areas for improvement.
• Create and monitor daily store staffing schedules, punctuality and attendance.
• Administer staff vacation schedules.
• Anticipate and respond to customer needs.
• Advance quality and efficiency in all aspects of store operations and personnel performance.
• Administer employee corrective actions according to established policies and procedures.
• Lead and model expected standards of floor supervision for Managers on Duty.
• Monitor buying, processing, and sales systems.
• Monitor store/merchandise presentation.
• Back up the duties of the Store Manager and Operations Manager in their absence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager and President.
Job Requirements:
Must have excellent speaking, listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead the team by providing training, coaching and feedback to staff. The successful candidate will have strong proactive problem-solving skills and be able to mediate disagreements, de-escalate situations and always provide excellent customer service. Must be a discreet, approachable, and dependable individual who has excellent customer service skills and can handle difficult customer interactions.
This is a Full-Time Exempt Position
