Job Summary
The Marketing & Community Engagement Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that enhance the visibility, reputation, and revenue of the Best Western Plus GranTree Inn, The Club Tavern & Grill, and the GranTree Casino. This position serves as the property's brand ambassador by creating engaging digital content, building community partnerships, promoting hotel events and amenities, and driving guest engagement across all marketing channels.
This individual works closely with all departments to showcase the guest experience, increase local awareness, support revenue-generating initiatives, and strengthen the property's position within the Bozeman market.
Essential Functions and Duties
Digital Marketing & Social Media
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the property's sales and marketing objectives.
  • Manage the property's social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
  • Create engaging written content, photography, graphics and short-form video for social media, websites and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain a social media content calendar with consistent, timely posting.
  • Monitor social media trends and recommend new opportunities to increase engagement and reach.
  • Respond to social media comments, messages and guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track engagement, reach, impressions, website traffic and campaign performance and provide regular reporting and recommendations.
Content Creation & Brand Management
  • Capture photography and video throughout the property highlighting guestrooms, restaurant offerings, casino promotions, meetings, weddings, special events and guest experiences.
  • Maintain an organized library of current marketing photography and video assets.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and promotional materials.
  • Update hotel website content, promotions and event information through the property's content management system as assigned.
  • Design and produce promotional materials including flyers, posters, digital signage, email campaigns and advertisements.
Community Engagement
  • Build relationships with local businesses, tourism organizations, community partners, influencers and event organizers to increase brand awareness.
  • Represent the hotel at community events, networking functions and tourism activities.
  • Identify partnership opportunities that drive hotel, restaurant and casino business.
  • Promote community involvement and charitable initiatives that strengthen the property's local presence.
Property Promotion
  • Collaborate with Sales to market meetings, conferences, weddings, group events and hotel packages.
  • Partner with Food & Beverage leadership to promote restaurant features, entertainment, holiday events and seasonal offerings.
  • Support casino promotions and special events through coordinated marketing campaigns.
  • Highlight employee recognition, guest stories and behind-the-scenes content that showcases the property's culture and service.
  • Assist Human Resources with recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives.
Brand Stewardship
  • Serve as the property's brand ambassador, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the guest experience through storytelling, visual presentation and community engagement.
  • Regularly evaluate the property's online presence to ensure photography, messaging and promotional materials accurately reflect the current guest experience.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify and promote new experiences, amenities and events that differentiate the property within the Bozeman market.
Reporting & Administrative
  • Track key performance indicators for digital marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare monthly reports summarizing marketing performance, campaign results and recommendations.
  • Maintain organized marketing files, promotional materials and digital assets.

Required Experience, Education and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hospitality marketing experience preferred.
  • Experience managing business social media accounts and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong photography, videography and content creation skills.
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content for social media platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar graphic design software.
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite and social media scheduling platforms.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and digital marketing metrics preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with excellent attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
Work Environment
  • Primarily works in an office environment with frequent use of computers, cameras and digital marketing tools.
  • Regularly moves throughout the hotel, restaurant, casino and meeting spaces to capture marketing content.
  • Frequent interaction with guests, community partners and team members.
  • Ability to lift and carry marketing materials and photography equipment up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings, weekends and holidays, to attend events and capture promotional content.
