Job description

Job Title: Casino Attendant

Reports to: Casino Manager

Compensation Type: Hourly

Summary of Position: Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional gaming experience for our guests.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers with a smile and if possible, by name
  • Serve guests beverages at the lottery machines
  • Cash lottery tickets and make change for guests
  • Balance lottery drawer at beginning and end of shift
  • Perform opening and closing duties
  • Work accurately with large sums of money
  • Make sure the casino, machines and bathrooms are always kept clean.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Strictly adhere to all state and local laws associated with video lottery play and alcohol consumption
  • Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to adapt to changes in our business strategies

Qualifications:

  • Responsible, reliable and punctual.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of video lottery games and machine functions
  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Be able to lift, bend, stoop and reach… unless a doctor's note is provided with descriptive limitations
  • Must be of at least 21 years of age
