Job Overview:
Experienced Shipping associates are responsible for storing, verifying, and preparing merchandise for shipment including but not limited to selecting packaging, staging, moving product via U-boat, and labelling.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents
  • Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes
  • Use RF Scanner and Warehouse Management System to complete shipment process for large items
  • Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer's orders
  • Pack and seal boxes following standard procedures

Additional Responsibilities:
  • As assigned by the manager

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistance
  • Extended periods of standing/walking (10+ hours/day)
  • Attention to detail and ability to count
  • Must be able to locate and identify specific items
  • Must be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Warehouse
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance.
  • Extended periods of standing/walking
