Position Summary

The Marketing Intern will support the marketing team at our High Point showroom, assisting with social media management, content creation, and brand execution. This role provides hands-on experience in furniture marketing, showroom branding, and event-based content creation — particularly during High Point Furniture Market.

The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced showroom environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with posting and scheduling content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.)
  • Help write captions and support execution of the social content calendar
  • Organize, update, and maintain Pinterest boards to reflect current collections and campaigns
  • Support the creation of Instagram Reels and short-form social content
  • Capture and assist with basic editing of photo and video content
  • Provide support on general marketing projects as needed
  • Assist with real-time content creation and posting during High Point Furniture Market (Spring)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms
  • Support showroom marketing initiatives and campaign rollouts

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools preferred
  • Comfortable capturing photo and video content on mobile devices
