SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

WarHorse Gaming Omaha is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surveillance Supervisor to oversee daily surveillance operations on the day shift. This role is responsible for protecting company assets, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations, and leading a team in monitoring casino operations through advanced surveillance systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, investigative skills, and a deep understanding of casino operations and regulatory compliance.

  • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
  • Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC. 
  • Monitors to ensure overall coverage required by gaming regulations. 
  • Ensures all employees are adhering to company policies and procedures. 
  • Conducts, supervises, and prepares reports relating to any incident that is reported. 
  • Advises and implements any and all changes passed down from Surveillance management.  
  • Assists department management to ensure coaching and counseling and other personnel related matters are being handled appropriately. 
  • Assists in facilitating team member performance reviews. 
  • Monitors the day-to-day activities related to the surveillance of gaming, simulcast and cash-handling areas, including the audio-visual taping of count room operations.   
  • Maintains records on department activities and makes appropriate reports during assigned shift to ensure that adequate and accurate information and video of surveillance activities are kept for future access.  
  • Reviews video to settle patron disputes, locate illegal activity, participate in investigations, or assist other departments.  Reports all observed violations of gaming regulations to the Surveillance Shift Manager and Surveillance Manager, in accordance with department standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance and enforcement of all applicable NRGC gaming regulations and internal controls.   
  • Performs player evaluations while furthering knowledge of surveillance operations. 
  • Participates in any court actions relating to gaming violations in order to represent facts obtained by department. 
  • Implements approved policies and procedures.   
  • Responds to surveillance management and regulatory requests. Responds to requests of all other departments when applicable and necessary. 
  • Audits procedures performed by other employees including count rooms, slots, food and beverage, cage, and security. Documents findings from these observations. 
  • Captures, tracks, and documents video evidence for risk management, compliance, and criminal activity. 
  • Performs other tasks as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 21 years or older. 
  • High school diploma/ GED or equivalent experience required. 
  • Two (2) years' experience in the casino surveillance field, with one (1) year of management/supervisory experience in the gaming industry preferred. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
  • Ability to perform basic math, English composition skills, and computer functions. 
  • Knowledge of all table games preferred. 
  • Knowledge of slot machine usage and operation preferred. 
  • Knowledge of casino operations and gaming operations required. 
  • Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations
