Who are we?
XP League is an esports league that is modeled after classic youth sports organizations, making it easy for parents and kids to understand our programming.
Through coach and player training-that is custom-tailored by the PCA, Aim Lab, and our program directors-anyone can become a successful coach. Parents with no video game or esports experience will be able to connect with their kids on a level they had never imagined.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Coach to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our coaches are the lifeblood of our XP League. This individual oversees the day-to-day coaching and player engagement. Are you experienced in working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and building life skills in young minds? Have you mentored youth? This could be the role for you.
Responsibilities include:
  • Commit to the principles of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA)
  • Streamcasting of practices and matches
  • Training - go through the guides and learn it
  • Create a positive and safe environment in which players can grow
  • Work with children to determine skill sets
  • Provide feedback to parents after working with players who are on a tour/tryout
  • Clean the site throughout the day to ensure cleanliness is kept up with corporate standards
  • Report weekly to the League Commissioner on progress
  • Report daily to the League Commissioner concerning the day's activities and productivity in the league
  • Game day is Saturday practices during the week

Qualifications:
  • Working history with children ages 7 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
  • Experience working with the general public
  • Experience in teaching, mentoring, or childcare
  • Experience in stream-casting a plus
  • Works well with others; collaborates
  • Knowledgeable about gaming and technology; or able to quickly pick up basic concepts
  • Must be fun to work with and like working in fast-paced environments where requirements can change frequently

This position is part-time. Depending on candidate availability and the time of year, XP League ESports Coach typically work between 6-10 hours per week.
