Mission:
The primary responsibility for this position is to support Ateme's customer in design, validation, deployment and operation of Ateme products and services within the customer's own facilities, including in critical systems and live production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Success, Platform Evolution & Technical Leadership
  • Support the evolution of customer platforms with close collaboration with the customer's engineering and operation teams during project design and validation phases.
  • Provide deep technical expertise to support customer efforts in developing new services using Ateme technology.
  • Provide customer-specific QA validation for all new code releases relevant to customer operation and ambition.
  • Assist in training clients on ATEME products and solutions.
  • Interface with ATEME R&D to ensure timely delivery of customer commitments.
  • Ensure service continuity and a high level of system availability across customer environments, including critical and live production systems.

Solution Deployment, Operations & Continuous Improvement
  • Deploy new projects, solutions, and technologies within customer environments.
  • Install, configure, and integrate ATEME solutions in client infrastructures.
  • Support live production events and ensure proper system performance during critical operations.
  • Conduct advanced technical investigations in collaboration with R&D teams.
  • Identify system issues, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and improve existing infrastructures, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system documentation.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and best practices to support knowledge sharing.

Customer Support & On-Call Commitment
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support critical systems and live environments, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements
Technical Expertise & Industry Knowledge
  • Good knowledge in Linux/Unix system administration and strong networking skills.
  • Deep knowledge of video Encoding technology including
  • Familiarity with common CODEC (AVC/HEVC/AV1/JPEG-XS,...)
  • Proficiency with SMPTE 2110
  • Proficiency with ARQ protocol
  • Proficiency with common video format (TS, CMAF, HLS,...)
  • Proficiency with SCTE-30/35/104/224
  • Deep knowledge of video broadcast and streaming ecosystem (playout, DRM, CDN, Monitoring, ...)
  • Understanding of basic system and application security best practices.
