Job description

BuzzFeed Studios is looking for a project-based Social Marketing Post Production Coordinator to join our team in Los Angeles. We're looking for a highly organized, production-minded coordinator who can manage multiple social marketing projects and deliverables simultaneously, working across internal teams and freelance creative partners to take projects from kickoff through final delivery.
This role will help manage the day-to-day production of social marketing assets, including tracking timelines and deliverables, coordinating editors and other creative resources, routing projects between internal departments, and supporting light editing, versioning, and exports as needed.
Rate: $260-$350/day depending on experience
Location: Los Angeles, with the ability to work in office
Responsibilities:
  • Manage social marketing projects from kickoff through final delivery, ensuring assets stay on schedule and meet project requirements
  • Build, track and maintain project timelines, asset lists, deliverables, assignments, approvals, and final delivery status across multiple concurrent campaigns
  • Partner with internal Marketing, Creative, Production, Post Production, and Social teams to coordinate project handoffs and ensure teams have the assets and information needed to complete their work
  • Coordinate and resource freelance video editors and other creative support based on project needs, timelines, and available budgets
  • Communicate project expectations, creative briefs, technical specifications, deadlines, and feedback to freelance and internal creative teams
  • Maintain clear visibility into the status of all active social marketing deliverables and proactively flag risks, delays, missing assets, or resource constraints
  • Facilitate review and feedback cycles between stakeholders, editors, designers, and other creative partners
  • Organize and maintain source materials, project files, creative assets, feedback, and final deliverables
  • Perform light video editing, versioning, resizing, captioning, and adjustments to existing creative as needed
  • Export, Quality Control, and deliver final assets according to platform and campaign specifications
  • Ensure final assets are properly named, organized, archived, and accessible to relevant teams
  • Support multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as timelines and business needs change

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital media, social marketing, post production, creative operations, or a related field
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously
  • Experience coordinating video editors, freelancers, or other creative resources
  • Working knowledge of social and digital video production, including platform-specific formats and deliverables
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Media Encoder with the ability to perform light edits, versioning, exports, and Quality Control
  • Familiarity with codecs, image types, resolutions, frame rates as they pertain to digital media trends
  • Experience with project management and tracking tools; Airtable and Float are a plus
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to independently guide projects from kickoff through final delivery in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Knowledge of current social platforms, digital video trends, and entertainment marketing
