Job description

Summary:
The Multi-Media Producer is responsible for producing videos, photographs and multi-media that supports Memorial Healthcare System's marketing and communications, as well as system initiatives. Develops and creates high-quality audiovisual multi-media packages for internal and external, online and social media audiences in short-form and long-form. Coordinates production partners for creative photography and video needs, inclusive of testimonials, recap video, media packages, commercials, and more.
Responsibilities:
Acts as hub for all multi-media needs, managing a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: Uploads and monitors video performance on Web, social channels, and intranet. Maintains a video gallery, YouTube channel and/or Vimeo channel for Memorial Healthcare System. Oversees the production of closed captions for Marketing and Communications video productions. Maintains the video productions archive on Memorial server. Compresses/encodes video projects for output in a variety of formats. Plans and performs video post-production tasks, including reviewing footage, logging, rough cuts, audio adjustments, color correction, adding photographs and/or motion graphics, audio and music, and final editing using Apple Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere. Performs work outside and beyond normal working hours during times of critical deadlines, projects, or other time-sensitive duties; volunteers at marketing/outreach events.Works collaboratively with Marketing Department, contracted vendors, and other parties throughout system to execute strategic video production. Develops and executes creative educational, testimonial, and event-based videos, photographs, and multimedia that supports all marketing-related initiatives. Directs and creates video-based brand campaigns that support Memorial marketing and communication goals. Pitches storyboard and ideas to areas outside of Marketing for various educational/promotional video needs and executes project based on client feedback. Maintains brand standards for all video assets.Works with Communications Department to provide video, photography and multi-media assets to meet campaign and media needs. Collaborates with media relations team to capture press conferences and other newsworthy events through b-roll, sound, and other assets to be shared with media in a timely manner. Executes patient testimonials, physician interviews, event recap videos, and other video/multi-media assets for social media, newsletter, and digital usage. Captures speeches and other videos for executive leadership. Works with internal communications on Human Resources, Compliance, and other internal campaign needs, such as photos and videos.Acts as lead multi-media strategist for short-form and long-form videos, photographs, and multimedia, providing clear direction and rationale of best practices that can advance messaging platforms and marketing strategies. Assists with developing and executing marketing and communications strategic plans, basing multimedia guidance on latest trends, technology innovations to advance system's messaging and position Memorial as a leader. Participates in all marketing and communications campaign planning to ensure all multi-media tactics are appropriately planned. Offers counsel on opportunities for enhanced video and photography, staying abreast of latest trends through ongoing education. Scouts shoot locations and assesses possible obstacles in filming and provides solutions or alternatives.Provides still photography, as needed. Captures high-def photography of internal and external events, providing Marketing/Communications with clean images for use in traditional and digital publication. Utilizes design programming for enhanced images. Stays abreast of latest technologies and offerings through webinars and other training.
