Position Summary:

Reporting into Senior Manager, Video Post Production, the Global Social Video Editor position within the CALVIN KLEIN CMO Group will specialize in executing high-impact social-first creative assets (short and longform videos) at speed for Calvin Klein's Global Social Media channels, in alignment with the overarching brand creative guidelines and seasonal direction.

This role requires a deep knowledge of current social media best-practices, trends, and platforms, as well understanding of style and fashion-focused visual storytelling and formats.

The ideal candidate must have experience in social-first content video editing, and be able to perform industry standard color, retouch and motion graphics. Experience with social media concepting and capture will be beneficial, as you will be interfacing directly with producers, art directors and strategists throughout the edit process.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities of the Job:

  • Edit social-first video content for Global Instagram, TikTok, YouTube channels in addition to cross-channel placements and emerging platforms, both at Calvin Klein's headquarters, on-location in New York City, as well as on-set
  • Work in partnership with in-house Global Social Creative team comprised of art directors, designers, copywriters and producers.
  • Partner closely with Global Social Media strategy team to execute smart, unexpected creative assets and narratives in alignment with brand identity and current social trends to meet department objectives and KPIs
  • Real-time video editing and post production of social-first assets by channel during live events and time-sensitive initiatives
  • Package and edit incoming influencer, VIP and partner content for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, as well as cross-channel placements
  • Continuously develop knowledge regarding new design trends, innovation in the creative and social media fields, and technology and pitch new ideas based on cultural trends and past content KPI impact
  • Participate in internal meetings as well as interact with external vendors where needed
  • Work closely with, communicate and present creative with all key stakeholders and counterparts
  • Deliver assets in the correct format and on time

Qualifications & Experience

Experience:

5-7 years of social media content edit experience, in house or at an agency. Fashion, beauty and lifestyle experience required.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree Required

Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Superior understanding of the history of Calvin Klein Advertising and the current Brand platform
  • Exceptionally skilled at storytelling through short and longform video formats
  • Video editing, color grading, light retouching, and motion graphics skills required, with both iPhone and professional equipment
  • In-depth knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite, inclusive of After Effects
  • Well-rounded video and design experience across all social media channels
  • Keen sense for color, layout, form, imagery, typography, and composition
  • Obsessed with the ever-changing landscape of Social Media and internet culture at large
  • Deep knowledge and ability to keep up to speed on all critical Global and Regional Social Media platforms
  • Stays on top of Social Creative trends - out-of-the-box executions, trending talent, and innovative creative partners (photographers, videographers, animators, CGI artists, etc)

Pay Range:$82,500---$117,100PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
