Description
The Communications & Engagement Student Assistant supports the Gosin Center's marketing, storytelling, and event engagement efforts at the Pleasantville campus. This role focuses on digital content creation, social media management, and on-site event support to amplify the Center's programs, including the Gosin Network Scholars Program and Fireside Chat Series.
This is a pre-professional opportunity for students interested in marketing, communications, leadership, higher education, or community engagement.
This position is looking for work-study eligible student applicants ONLY.
Responsibilities:
Marketing & Digital Communications
  • Manage and curate content for the Gosin Center's social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, and Setter Sync)
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar in collaboration with Gosin leadership
  • Design digital flyers, graphics, and promotional materials using Canva
  • Capture photos and short-form video content at events
  • Track engagement metrics and provide brief monthly analytics summaries

Event & Program Support
  • Assist with event set-up and breakdown for Gosin programs and signature events
  • Provide on-site support including check-in, photography, and light logistics coordination
  • Support promotion of co-sponsored events with student organizations
  • Represent the Gosin Center professionally at campus events and engagement spaces
  • Contribute creative ideas for increasing student awareness and participation

Requirements
