The Role

The Sr Video Editor / Producer will be primarily responsible for editing high-quality video content that reflects the heart, beauty, and strength of Ballerina Farm. This role focuses heavily on post-production and storytelling through polished edits for marketing campaigns, product launches, social media, and brand storytelling initiatives, while also supporting occasional video capture as needed.

We are looking for someone who is not just technically skilled, but a storyteller at heart-someone who notices beauty in hard work, simple living, and quiet moments. The ideal candidate is comfortable capturing real life as it naturally unfolds and translating those moments into compelling visual stories that feel authentic to the brand.

This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong editing eye who can work independently, move quickly, and maintain a consistent visual voice across platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, disciplined, reliable, and aligned with Ballerina Farm's values and pace of life.


What You'll Do

Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit short-form and long-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, website, and ads
  • Color correct, sound mix, and polish footage to match Ballerina Farm's visual tone
  • Maintain efficient workflows for fast turnaround while preserving quality
  • Organize footage and manage digital assets

Production & Filming

  • Capture cinematic video of daily farm life, family moments, food, animals, landscapes, and behind-the-scenes operations
  • Film branded content for product launches, campaigns, and partnerships
  • Operate camera, audio, and lighting equipment in both controlled and natural environments (digital camera and iphone)
  • Adapt to fast-paced, unscripted moments while maintaining visual quality

Creative Direction & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and social teams to develop story ideas and visual concepts
  • Translate brand values and craftsmanship - into compelling visual narratives
  • Contribute ideas for new formats, series, and storytelling approaches

Brand Consistency

  • Maintain a consistent cinematic and emotional style aligned with Ballerina Farm's aesthetic
  • Understand and protect the brand voice across all visual content


What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of experience and video editing and video production
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating cinematic storytelling and brand-focused content
  • Experience sourcing and curating music for commercial use
  • Proficiency with professional camera systems and Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci
  • Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and natural light shooting
  • Comfortable filming in rural, outdoor, and farm environments
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects


What's Preferred

  • Experience shooting lifestyle, documentary, and product videos.
  • Familiarity with short-form social video trends
  • Experience working with small teams or family-owned brands
  • Knowledge of color grading (DaVinci Resolve a plus)
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when needed


How You'll Succeed

  • One, 1:1 call with the Director of Brand and Creator each week to align on priorities, deliverables and set goals for the week
  • One, 1:1 call with the Art Director each week to align on priorities, deliverables and set goals for the week
  • Participation in the following meetings:
    • Weekly Creative + Marketing TB
    • Weekly Social Calendar
    • Creative Content TB
  • 10 iphone and/or digital Ads/week
  • 3-4 iphone reels/week
  • 1 long form campaign video/month
  • 3-5 short form campaign videos/month


About the Opportunity

  • This is a full-time position
  • This is a hybrid position, requiring multiple days or projects to be on-site in Midway and/or Kamas, Utah - potentially multiple days per week. Wednesdays are a mandatory in-office day in Midway, UT.
