The Digital Content Director & Streaming Producer is a key member of the KTVZ newsroom, responsible for creating, producing and publishing engaging content across KTVZ's digital, social, and streaming platforms. This role combines strong journalism skills with a digital-first mindset to ensure audiences receive accurate, compelling, and timely news coverage however and wherever they consume content.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises excellent news judgment, and is passionate about innovative storytelling through live streams, video, written content, and social media.
This position is responsible for publishing breaking and developing news to KTVZ.com, the KTVZ News App, social media channels, and streaming platforms with accuracy and speed. The Digital Content Creator & Streaming Producer collaborates closely with anchors, photographers, producers, reporters and newsroom leadership to ensure digital deadlines are met and stories are enhanced with interactive elements, graphics, photos and video.
Candidates should possess excellent news judgment, strong writing and editing skills, familiarity with content management systems and digital publishing platforms, and experience creating content for websites, social media, and streaming services. Knowledge of SEO, digital analytics, and basic HTML is a plus. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to multitask under tight deadlines, communicates effectively with colleagues and the public, and is willing to work flexible hours.
