Job description

Job Title: Administrative Assistant Children's Ministry, Media & Marketing

Job Summary: This position supports the operations, communications and marketing for multiple ministries. It is responsible for successful Children's Ministry logistics and the production of various forms of digital and print media church wide. This includes social media content, website content, mobile app content and various print media production.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
  • Assist the Children's Department with the preparation, organization, and distribution of curriculum materials for Sunday and Wednesday services
  • Assemble lesson resources, including reading, writing, printing, cutting, laminating, and other preparation tasks as needed
  • Upload and maintain documents within Dropbox
  • Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint to support curriculum delivery and presentations
  • Prepare and set up curriculum materials on iPads and classroom computers
  • Prepare rooms prior to services, including setting up check-in and curriculum computers, turning on walkie-talkies, and ensuring materials are ready for use
  • Ensure classrooms are fully stocked with snacks and supplies and maintained in a clean, organized condition, as well as making sure the Kingdom Kash Cart is stocked and each classroom has Kingdom Kash available
  • Provide support on Sunday mornings by assisting the Director, stepping in when she is in service, and addressing any issues or complications that arise
  • Occasionally serve as a classroom assistant during services
  • MEDIA & COMMUNICATIONS
  • Promote New Hope Ministries brand awareness
  • Maintain effective and engaging website and mobile app
  • Maintain effective and engaging social media presence Facebook, Instagram etc.
  • Create and maintain marketing database
  • Design and produce print media bulletins, flyers, touch cards etc. for multiple departments
  • Design, print, and prepare graphics for bathroom bulletin boards across both buildings
  • Maintain and update bulletin boards monthly with upcoming events
  • Update and schedule the weekly e-blast communications
  • Assist with shooting and editing video promos
  • Create and schedule weekly Wednesday dinner text communications using Text In Church
  • Assist with special events (e.g., Fishing and Hunting Banquets, VBS, Fall Fest), including printing flyers, creating labels, updating presentations, and supporting event needs as directed
