Job description

About Comp AI
Comp AI is reimagining compliance. We're rebuilding a stack that has been manual for far too long, with AI agents designed to handle the busywork. We're one of the fastest growing companies in the world, with more than 1,000 customers in less than 18 months and accelerating.
Our AI agents:
  • Draft and maintain policies based on our customers' tech stack
  • Collect ongoing evidence across code and browser use
  • Assess risks and monitor mission critical vendors
  • Review code and changes to a company's stack
  • Continuously monitor posture against common cyber security frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and GDPR

Compliance is the wedge. What we're building is the whole trust layer with continuous, AI-driven code security, cloud security, device security - owned end to end instead of stitched together between vendors. Always on, and better the longer you use it. We move fast and hold a high bar. The team is small enough that each person's work shows up directly in our product.
About the Role
We're hiring a Video Editor to own how Comp AI shows up on screen. Footage comes to you - your job is to turn it into a sharp, on-brand video that earns attention and drives the brand.
This is an editing role with some in house production mixed in. We're not looking for generic corporate edits. Our content should feel cinematic, fast-paced, and social native: sharp cuts, documentary realism, and motion graphics that support the story.
Most people think compliance is boring. Your job is to make people stop scrolling. The content you ship is how a lot of the market meets us for the first time, so the craft matters. You'll work directly with founders and the growth team, see what actually performs, and iterate against it.
We're at Series A stage and scaling from 19 to 40 this year - real ownership, meaningful equity, and Florida no-state-income-tax take-home.
What you'll do
  • Own the edit
    • Take raw footage and own it end to end: assembly, story, pace, graphics, sound, color, and final delivery.
    • Cut for attention. Trim the fat, keep the hook, and hold the viewer to the end.
    • Set and hold a consistent visual style across everything we publish.
  • Ship fast
    • Turn around edits in days, then iterate on what actually performs.
    • Produce both short-form (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, LinkedIn) and long-form (YouTube, product, brand) cuts.
    • Keep footage, assets, and project files organized so the whole pipeline moves quickly.
  • Stay close and partner
    • Work directly with founders and marketing from concept through final cut.
    • Take feedback well, iterate fast, and bring your own ideas to the table.
    • Tie your work to outcomes - pay attention to what drives views, watch-time, and engagement, and double down on it.

What we're looking for
  • A reel that shows both polish and pace: cinematic, fast, hard to scroll past.
  • Fluency in a pro editing suite - Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Real strength in color, audio and post workflow.
  • The ability to explain your creative decisions, not just execute them.
  • Detail-obsessed and fast. Nothing sloppy, nothing slow.
  • Happy to be on-site in Aventura five days a week.

Nice to have
  • Comfortable picking up a camera for clean interview or b-roll footage when needed. You don't need to be a DP.
  • Experience making technical or B2B subject matter feel human.

Location and logistics
  • On-site five days a week at our Aventura office, in the Miami metro between Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
  • This is not a remote or freelance role.
  • We are not sponsoring visas at this time.

Perks
  • Unlimited PTO on top of US federal holidays.
  • 100% covered health, dental, and vision.
  • Quarterly team offsites to bond and have fun.
  • An exceptionally high-caliber team to learn from.

Compensation
  • $70,000 - $100,000 base, depending on portfolio and proven experience.
  • Meaningful equity, roughly 0.10% to 0.30%.
  • No Florida state income tax, so a given base takes home meaningfully more than the SF or NYC equivalent.

The pay range for this role is:
70,000 - 100,000 USD per year (Miami HQ)
