Starting Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 (depending on experience)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Hourly

Work Environment: In-Person, Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

Job Summary:
The Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for creating and executing high-quality content that drives brand awareness, engagement, and business growth across Woodgrain’s digital channels. This role combines professional-level photo and video production with digital content marketing execution across social media, blogs, and email campaigns. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in social media management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and TikTok through strategic content creation and publishing
  • Create engaging multimedia content including video, photography, graphics, and written copy that supports brand awareness and marketing initiatives
  • Lead video and photo production from concept through final delivery, including planning, filming, editing, and post-production
  • Develop creative assets for digital and print campaigns while maintaining brand consistency across all channels and materials
  • Build and maintain a content calendar to support social media, website, blog, and email marketing efforts
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including influencers, to develop compelling content and campaign strategies
  • Engage with audiences across platforms by responding to inquiries and fostering positive customer interactions
  • Monitor content and campaign performance, analyze engagement metrics, and provide recommendations to improve reach and effectiveness
  • Maintain and organize digital media assets to support ongoing marketing and communication initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communication, or related field is preferred
  • At least 3 years of social media management or content creation experience
  • Previous experience with videography, photography, or digital marketing is highly desirable
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro

Physical Demands:
The physical demands and work environment are representative of a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to press, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.  

  • Travel: This position does not require travel to other Woodgrain locations, but travel may be offered on occasion for business related needs. 
  • Schedule: This position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, excluding company holidays, with working hours that may vary based on departmental needs.
