Lifeway Creative is seeking a Creative Producer to lead the planning and execution of assigned video and media projects from concept through production. This role will write and direct projects, coordinate production logistics and collaborates closely with creative team members and ministry partners to deliver high-quality content. Through compelling video storytelling, the Creative Producer supports Lifeway's mission and advances ministry, communication, and marketing objectives.

This is an in-office position located within approximately a 2 hour radius of the Brentwood, TN area.

Responsibilities
  • Live out Lifeway's mission and values, showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
  • Oversees the logistics, scheduling, and coordination of video, photo, and media productions, ensuring projects meet established timelines and quality standards.
  • Assists inpreparing equipment, locations, and documentation for on-site shoots.
  • Partners with producers, editors, and creative team members to carry out production plans, providing input during planning sessions and ensuring alignment with creative direction and ministry objectives.
  • Assists with camera setup, lighting, props, talent coordination, and other on-site needs to ensure smooth execution of shoots, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Manages timelines, asset tracking, production calendars, and related documentation for assigned projects, maintaining accuracy and accessibility of project records.
  • Ensures video and media content aligns with Lifeway's brand standards for clarity, accuracy, and theological integrity, raising potential issues for review when needed.
  • Frequent travel required, often overnight

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Communications, Film, or a related field , preferred
Master's degree, not required
Advanced graduate degree (PhD, etc.), not required
Skills, Knowledge, & Experiences, required
  • 2+ years of creative video production experience, supporting planning and production phases
  • Exposure to a variety of production contexts, such as studio shoots, live events, or on-location filming
  • Proficient in creative concept development and execution, generating ideas and translating them into engaging video and media content.
  • Working knowledge of video production workflows, contributing to shooting, editing, and graphics integration.
  • Proficient in budget and schedule coordination, maintaining timelines, costs, and resource tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability in team collaboration and communication, partnering with supervisors, content teams, and production staff.
  • Proficient in customer relations and interpersonal communication, ensuring responsiveness to ministry needs.
  • Working knowledge of business and research practices, applying insights to support creative decisions.
  • Proficient in screenwriting, directing video productions, and working with technicians to achieve an impactful and unified vision.

Actively involved in an evangelical Christian church

  • Must be able to work flexible hours during shoots, including evenings or weekends as needed
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds and safely assist with setup and tear-down of production equipment
