Our in-house Creative team is seeking a passionate, creative and energetic well-rounded Senior Graphic Designer who can drive new creative as well as support existing strategic direction. The Senior Graphic Designer is a hands-on role that will collaborate closely with the Creative Director to develop big ideas and concepts to develop all creative from concept through production. The Senior Graphic Designer is both a high level creative conceptual thinker + hands-on maker. S/He works in collaboration and helps provide guidance to the creative team including art direction, designers, copywriters and other production specialists to produce all marketing collateral and deliver creative assets and direction globally.

The Creative team provides the creative strategy and look and feel from all projects big to small. Every design detail for the Shaw Contract brand originates with this nimble team. From print design, to advertisements, social campaigns, space design, photo art direction, video direction + creation, print and electronic marketing materials (and ideas that we haven't yet thought of) that develop and maintain the Shaw Contract global visual identity.

Requirements:

  • Graphic Design degree required

  • 8+ years' experience in graphic design + art direction(portfolio required)

  • Knowledge of various media including print, digital and spatial design

  • Exceptional aesthetic sense and an intuitive command of design principles.

  • Great eye for layout and typography.

  • Strong conceptual thinking - able to generate ideas, not just execute them.

  • Print and web design capabilities; must be able to work across both for integrated campaigns.

  • Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Preferred skills or experiences:

  • Experience in commercial interiors

  • Working knowledge of Figma; HTML and CSS experience a plus.

  • Motion and video familiarity (After Effects, Premiere) is a strong plus given our video work.
