Lead Video Editor
Primary Function:
The Lead Video Editor is responsible for leading the end-to-end visual storytelling from script to final cut, hasping a cohesive, high-quality narrative across all video content.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The following tasks are considered essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions:
  • Generate and provide various illustrative, animated, and still graphics solutions for all editorial content.
  • Deliver high-end graphics solutions, including VRs, ARs, and complex animated, composited, and motion design creative solutions.
  • Supervise the execution of graphics on all MBN-produced content; provide solutions, guidance, and assistance to MBN staff in matters related to graphics, brand, and visuals.
  • Maintain the graphic identity of MBN.
  • Create graphic packages and kits for all verticals.
  • Work with the editorial team and vertical heads on conceptualizing/brainstorming graphics and branding solutions.
  • Present storyboards, ideas, and concepts that encompass the latest trends and technologies in the industry.
  • Keep current on the latest developments in the field and be involved with design organizations.
  • Ability to guide and direct creative filming and photoshoots for branding and promotional needs of MBN.
  • Research stock photography, illustration, sound or video-clips as needed.

Other Duties:
Perform additional job-related duties and take on new responsibilities as needed based on organizational requirements and circumstances.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates are required to have:
  • A degree in Fine Arts, motion graphics, design, multimedia, or equivalent education or experience is sought 3-5 years of experience is required.
  • Qualified candidates must demonstrate excellent reading, writing, and speaking skills as they will produce graphics work in Arabic.
  • Applicants must have expert knowledge of After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite and 3D software.
  • Individuals must conceptualize, design, develop and animate multiple types of projects.
  • Candidates must be able to perform and complete complex graphics and branding exercises from concept until delivery.
  • Candidates must be able to handle working under pressure and tight deadlines. They also must be able to communicate effectively across departments and manage clients and work deliverables.
  • The selected candidate will have an excellent eye for motion, form and color and will be familiar with both Mac and PC.
