CONTENT & DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST
SUMMARY
The Content & Digital Marketing Specialist supports the planning and execution of digital marketing initiatives across a variety of client accounts. Working closely with the account service, creative, and media teams, this individual creates engaging content, assists with digital campaigns, and helps clients effectively communicate across digital platforms.
This position is responsible for developing compelling written content for social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and other marketing initiatives while also supporting basic photography and videography needs. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment.
The Content & Digital Marketing Specialist should possess strong writing and communication skills, an eye for detail, and a willingness to continuously learn evolving digital marketing tools and best practices. Success in this role requires creativity, collaboration, sound judgment, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create, schedule, and publish content across a variety of social media platforms.
• Write engaging copy for social media, email marketing campaigns, digital advertising, and other marketing materials.
• Assist in the execution and ongoing support of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Build and deploy email marketing campaigns and maintain email distribution lists.
• Capture and edit basic photo and video content for use across digital marketing channels.
• Assist with on-site photography and videography at client events, promotional activities, and agency projects.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of paid search and social media advertising campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic reports on digital marketing metrics.
• Coordinate digital assets, including graphics, photography, video, and written content with internal teams and outside vendors.
• Proofread and quality-check digital content prior to publication.
• Maintain content calendars and assist in keeping projects on schedule.
• Research industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital marketing best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, account service staff, and media specialists to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital communications and marketing materials.
• Support agency marketing initiatives, client promotions, and special events as needed.
• Provide administrative and project support for digital marketing initiatives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Experience:
Two to four years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, communications, social media, or a related field. Agency experience is preferred but not required.
Experience creating digital content, writing marketing copy, managing social media platforms, and utilizing common digital marketing tools is highly desirable.
