Livestream Host & Short-Form Video Content Creator

Faraday Future

Los Angeles, CA

Full-time

Posted 9 days ago

Job description

The Company:

Faraday Future (FF) is a California-based mobility company, leveraging the latest technologies and world's best talent to realize exciting new possibilities in mobility. We're producing user-centric, technology-first vehicles and intelligent products that establish new paradigms in human-machine interaction. We're not just seeking to change how mobility works - we're creating something new, connected, and capable of making a true global impact.

Your Role:

As a Livestream Host & Short-Form Video Content Creator, you will serve as an on-camera brand representative for FF's robotics products. You will independently own the end-to-end development of livestream scripts and run-of-show plans, host engaging product-focused livestreams, and create short-form social video content that turns technical product features into clear, compelling customer stories. This role requires strong sales instincts, confident product demonstration skills, and the ability to engage audiences across multiple social media platforms while maintaining brand accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently develop end-to-end livestream scripts, including creative concepts, opening hooks, product storytelling, run-of-show timing, demonstration sequences, audience interaction prompts, FAQs, objection handling, promotional offers, lead-generation prompts, and clear calls to action.
  • Host live shopping, product education, launch, demonstration, and community-engagement sessions featuring FF robotics products across multiple approved social media platforms, such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, or other emerging channels.
  • Translate complex robotics features, technical specifications, use cases, and differentiators into accurate, easy-to-understand, customer-focused messaging without making unsupported product claims.
  • Demonstrate robots live in a safe, polished, and engaging manner, including setup, feature walkthroughs, real-world scenarios, audience-requested demonstrations, and smooth transitions between products or program segments.
  • Own short-form video production from concept through completion, including ideation, scripting, on-camera presentation, product demonstration, shooting with a phone or camera, and basic editing for vertical social media formats.
  • Create promotional content before livestreams and repurpose livestream moments into short clips, highlights, FAQs, product explainers, testimonials, or other approved social assets.
  • Prepare for each session through product training, technical briefings, rehearsals, equipment checks, and close coordination with Marketing, Product, Sales, E-commerce, Creative, and Technical Support teams.
  • Operate or coordinate essential livestream production elements, including camera framing, lighting, audio, teleprompter or cue materials, product placement, comments, and multi-platform streaming tools.
  • Maintain an energetic on-camera presence, respond to live comments in real time, recover smoothly from technical or product issues, and keep the program on schedule while protecting the customer experience.
  • Review livestream and content performance, document audience questions and product feedback, and recommend improvements based on viewership, engagement, leads, click-throughs, conversions, and other assigned campaign metrics.
  • Follow all approved brand guidelines, platform policies, promotional terms, confidentiality requirements, safety procedures, and legal or compliance guidance applicable to livestream and video content.
  • Perform other livestream, video-content, product-presentation, or event-hosting duties reasonably related to the engagement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a livestream host, social commerce host, on-camera presenter, content creator, product demonstrator, or similar customer-facing talent.
  • Demonstrated experience hosting livestreams on multiple social media platforms, with a strong understanding of platform-specific audience behavior, moderation, pacing, engagement tools, and commerce or lead-generation features.
  • Proven ability to independently write complete livestream scripts and run-of-show documents from an initial campaign brief through final, production-ready execution.
  • Hands-on ability to ideate, script, shoot, present, and perform basic edits for short-form social video using a smartphone or camera, including sound, lighting, framing, and vertical-video best practices.
  • Strong on-camera presence with excellent verbal communication, storytelling, improvisation, audience engagement, and product-selling skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn robotics products, understand technical information, and communicate product benefits accurately to both general consumers and business audiences.
  • Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines, incorporating feedback quickly, and arriving fully prepared for scheduled shoots and livestreams.
  • Availability to work on-site at FF-designated locations and during scheduled livestream windows, which may include evenings, weekends, product launches, or special events.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience hosting livestreams or creating content for consumer electronics, robotics, AI, mobility, education technology, smart-home products, or other technical products.
  • Experience with live shopping, affiliate marketing, TikTok Shop, social commerce, lead-generation campaigns, or direct-response sales content.
  • Experience with simultaneous multi-platform streaming and tools such as OBS, StreamYard, Restream, TikTok Live Studio, or comparable production software.
  • Working knowledge of short-form editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable software.
  • A collaborative, proactive, reliable, and solutions-oriented working style, with strong attention to brand details and production quality.

Deliverables & Performance Expectations:

  • Production-ready livestream scripts and run-of-show documents delivered according to the approved content calendar and review deadlines.
  • Professional hosting of assigned livestream sessions, rehearsals, product demos, and special events.
  • Short-form social videos and supporting promotional assets produced in the quantities, formats, and timelines defined in each approved campaign brief or content calendar.
  • Timely post-livestream recaps covering performance observations, recurring audience questions, technical issues, product feedback, and recommended optimizations.
  • Consistent incorporation of approved feedback and continuous improvement in content quality, audience engagement, lead generation, and sales conversion performance.

Engagement Details:

  • Employment term: To be specified in the applicable part-time employment agreement or offer letter.
  • Work location and schedule: To be confirmed based on the livestream and content-production calendar.
  • Specific session frequency, content volume, review workflow, usage rights, and payment terms will be documented in the final part-time employment agreement or offer letter.
