Position Description:
Social Content Creator (Part-Time)
The Social Content Producer will plan, shoot, edit, and deliver social first photo and video content for a fast paced creative team supporting brand marketing initiatives. This hourly contractor will be responsible for producing lifestyle content designed for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms, with an emphasis on engaging short form video, platform native storytelling, and polished but authentic visual content.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on content creator who can take a creative brief, develop content ideas, manage production details, capture photo and video content, and complete post production edits. This person should be highly familiar with current social trends, especially on Instagram and TikTok, and comfortable producing content that feels timely, engaging, and aligned to brand standards.
This role is located at a client site in Atlanta, GA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Social Content Development
• Respond to creative briefs and translate strategic objectives into clear, social first content ideas.
• Pitch content concepts, series ideas, and creative approaches that align with the audience, brand direction, and current social trends.
• Develop lifestyle content ideas optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant social platforms.
• Partner with marketing and creative team members to ensure content supports campaign goals and brand guidelines.
Photo & Video Production
• Plan and execute social first lifestyle photo and video shoots from concept through capture.
• Coordinate production details, including shoot planning, shot lists, locations, props, talent needs, schedules, and production logistics.
• Capture high quality short form video and photography designed for social platforms.
• Ensure shoots capture the proper orientations, formats, framing, and content variations needed for Instagram and TikTok.
• Support multiple projects at once.
Editing & Post Production
• Edit short form video content optimized for Instagram and TikTok.
• Perform post production tasks including selecting footage, cutting edits, adding graphic overlays, audio editing, captions, and platform specific formatting.
• Create final assets that are polished, engaging, and ready for channel use.
• Ensure all content is delivered in the correct specifications, formats, and file organization standards.
Collaboration & Coordination
• Work closely with marketing specialists, designers, creative partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure content is aligned and consistent.
• Incorporate feedback efficiently while protecting the quality and timing of final deliverables.
• Maintain clear communication around timelines, production needs, asset status, and delivery dates.
• Support an organized handoff of final assets to the team responsible for publishing and community management.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 3+ years of experience in social content production, content creation, video production, photography, or a related creative role.
• Strong portfolio of lifestyle photo and video content created for social media.
Hands on experience planning, shooting, and editing short form video content.
• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok content trends, platform expectations, formats, and best practices.
• Ability to produce content from brief through final delivery.
• Experience with video editing, audio editing, captions, graphic overlays, and social formatting.
