Job description

Low Voltage Technician (100% Travel)

Position Summary

Seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians for nationwide retail and commercial technology deployments. This role involves installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting network cabling, wireless access points, IP cameras, fiber optics, and low-voltage power systems. Candidates must be comfortable with overnight work, travel, and operating lifts. Company vehicle and gas card provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, route, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling
  • Install and configure Wireless Access Points (WAPs)
  • Replace legacy camera systems with IP-based surveillance solutions
  • Install cameras, network racks, cabinets, switches, and related hardware
  • Run, dress, label, and organize network cabling
  • Install low-voltage power wiring, EMT conduit, junction boxes, and pull boxes
  • Support power and data infrastructure installations alongside electricians
  • Install Public Video Monitor (PVM) systems
  • Perform cable testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance
  • Operate scissor lifts and follow all safety standards
