Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Account Director and drive project execution by building rapport with internal and external teams.
  • Contribute to overall team process by sharing ideas and best practices.
  • Contribute to lead generation and organic growth.
  • Ensure proper brand strategy is pulled through into all work streams.
  • Work with Project Managers to develop and maintain timelines throughout the life of a job, including management of deliverables and client milestones.
  • Communicate project updates to team, including shifts in project scope, direction, or timing that may impact agency resource requirements.
  • Review hot sheet/status grids, as well as materials for quality and accuracy throughout the process (brand and editorial standards, consistency, comprehension, execution).
  • Understand and convey requirements for MLR review and editorial process to ensure compliance with client guidelines, working closely with QA Manager.
  • Assist with development of proposals and SOWs based on accurate estimating and tracking of hours, and reconciliation against estimates.
  • Evaluate performance of staff in collaboration with HR (identifying strengths, weaknesses, and areas for development).
  • Approve timesheets for direct reports.

Experience & Skills:

  • Experience: Bachelors degree in a related field (science, communications, marketing) and/or 10+ years of healthcare/pharmaceutical communications experience. 35 years in market access, payer, or reimbursement communications is a plus.
  • Relationship Management: Experience with senior client level relationship management (be seen as an expert within marketing), including problem solving, critical thinking, networking, and conveying of ideas and directives.
  • Demonstrated Success: Proven track record working in a Creative/Production Agency environment, making successful presentations, and contributing to lead generation and organic growth, building account plans, and responding to proposal requests.
  • Strong Portfolio:A portfolio that showcases strategic, access-focused content (e.g., value decks, pull-through tools, access strategy frameworks). Experience working on sales training materials to educate field representatives on brand-specific access challenges and solutions.
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong communicator and active listener who can translate client needs into smart, actionable plans while maintaining a collaborative, positive, solutions-first mindset under pressure. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to lead conversations with senior clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Executional Excellence: For multiple projects with competing priorities, ensure cohesive creative strategy, execution, consistency, and quality across all creative outputs within an account, while adhering to brand standards and editorial style guides.
  • Organization: Detail-oriented and process-driven, with excellent project and time management skills, and clear understanding of the medical/legal/regulatory environment and communications review process.
  • Proficiency with Veeva/Veeva PromoMats and experience navigating the Promotional Review process and MLR teams.


          Technical & Computer Skills:

          • Expertise working in an Apple/Macintosh computer environment, as well as Apple software.
          • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams, Copilot).
          • Solid knowledge of Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Slides, Docs, Meet, and Gmail).
          • Proficiency with Veeva CRM and PromoMats.
          • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is a must, and other programs in the Adobe Suite is a plus.
          • Experience with project management/routing tools (e.g., Monday.com, Ziflow, Filemaker) is a plus.
