Victory Healthcare Communications is seeking a strategic, scientifically fluent HCP Promotional and/or Market Access Writer to develop high-impact content that supports HCP Promotional, payer, reimbursement, and value communication strategies for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.

We are looking for a writer who understands the business of HCP decision making/promotional communications and/or market access. The ideal candidate is someone who can translate:

  • Clinical data and disease category information into persuasive narratives for HCP and allied health specialists, with the goal of achieving trial and ongoing adoption Rx treatments.
  • Clinical and health economic data into persuasive narratives for payers, IDNs, and specialty pharmacy stakeholders, with the goal of achieving optimal payer coverage.

As an HCP Promotional Writer at Victory, you will partner with account, strategy, medical, and creative teams to develop compelling materials that articulate value across the healthcare professional ecosystem. You will contribute to pre-launch, launch, and post-launch initiatives.

You must be comfortable interpreting clinical data and competitive landscapes, transforming them into messaging that resonates with, and contributes to, HCP adoption of individual treatments.

As a Market Access Writer at Victory, you will partner with account, strategy, and creative teams to develop compelling materials that articulate value across the healthcare ecosystem. You will contribute to pre-launch and launch initiatives, payer engagement campaigns, reimbursement education, and access-driven brand strategy programs.

You must be comfortable interpreting clinical data, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), and competitive landscapes, as well as transforming them into messaging that resonates with sophisticated payer and provider audiences.

Develop market access-focused content across channels, including:

  • Value propositions and value story decks
  • AMCP dossiers and payer communication materials
  • Reimbursement education tools and access leave-behinds
  • Field access training materials

  • Pull-through materials and objection-handling tools
  • Translate clinical trial data and HEOR insights into clear, persuasive narratives
  • Collaborate with strategy teams to align messaging with access barriers, formulary positioning, and contracting realities
  • Ensure all content is medically accurate, strategically sound, and aligned with brand objectives
  • Participate in client workshops and internal strategy discussions
  • Incorporate feedback from medical, regulatory, and legal stakeholders
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer trends, policy changes, and access dynamics

Experience & Skills:

  • 57+ years of experience in pharmaceutical HCP promotional and/or market access writing, managed markets communications, or payer marketing
  • Experience within a healthcare communications agency strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of:
  • HCP
    • Clinical data outcomes
    • HCP behavioral drivers and barriers
    • HCP and Patient customer journeys
    • Pre-approval, launch, and post launch brand story evolution
  • Market Access
    • Reimbursement pathways (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid)
    • Formulary decision-making processes
    • HEOR and value-based messaging
    • AMCP dossier development
  • Ability to synthesize complex clinical and economic data into concise, persuasive copy
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional agency teams
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MPH, PharmD, MBA, MS) a plus

  • Solid knowledge of Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Slides, Docs, Meet, and Gmail).
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.
  • Understanding of Veeva Vault PromoMats and the MLR process.
  • Experience with project management tools (Monday.com and Filemaker) is a plus.
