About the Role

As the Vice President of Marketing, you will lead Crisp’s marketing department in a high-growth, sales-centered environment, unifying lead generation, paid media, AdOps, events, lifecycle/email, creative, brand, social, and podcast functions to drive revenue, retention, and client acquisition.

You will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and serve as the senior leader responsible for building a disciplined, high-urgency marketing engine that directly supports business growth. This role requires a process-oriented operator who can bring clarity to ambiguity, establish campaign schedules and accountability systems, improve email and campaign performance, and align marketing activity to measurable commercial outcomes.

The ideal candidate comes from a challenger brand, lifestyle brand, membership/coaching business, or prestige professional services environment where trust, differentiation, and a sophisticated sale were central to growth. You are a scrappy, resourceful builder with strong sales-centered marketing experience, deep ownership of lead generation, and the ability to elevate both performance marketing and creative execution. You must also be forward-thinking in your use of AI, with experience applying automation, emerging tools, or agentic AI workflows to improve marketing speed, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and own Crisp’s integrated marketing strategy across lead generation, paid media, AdOps, events, lifecycle/email, creative, brand, social, community and podcast.
  • Build a revenue-centered marketing engine that increases qualified leads, pipeline contribution, client acquisition, retention, and overall revenue growth.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Revenue leadership to improve lead quality, campaign performance, show rates, conversion, and sales enablement.
  • Lead paid media and AdOps strategy, ensuring campaigns are properly planned, tracked, optimized, reported, and tied to commercial outcomes.
  • Own lifecycle and email marketing strategy, including campaign calendars, segmentation, nurture programs, open rates, engagement, and conversion performance.
  • Drive event and membership-related marketing efforts that support acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand authority.
  • Elevate creative execution across video, design, campaign assets, social content, and brand storytelling, ensuring output is both high-quality and commercially effective.
  • Strengthen Crisp’s brand presence across social, podcast, thought leadership, content, and community-driven channels.
  • Implement clear marketing processes, operating rhythms, workflows, KPIs, dashboards, and accountability systems to improve speed, quality, and team performance.
  • Break down silos across marketing functions and build a culture of urgency, collaboration, ownership, and high standards.
  • Hire, coach, manage, and develop marketing leaders and specialists across creative, performance, brand, lifecycle, and operations.
  • Apply AI, automation, and emerging marketing technology to improve campaign execution, reporting, creative production, personalization, and team efficiency.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of integrated marketing leadership experience, including ownership of multi-disciplinary teams across performance marketing, creative, brand, lifecycle/email, events, and marketing operations.
  • Strong sales-centered marketing experience with demonstrated impact on revenue, pipeline, lead generation, acquisition, and retention.
  • Proven success leading lead generation strategy in a sales-led or high-growth environment.
  • Hands‑on understanding of paid media, AdOps, campaign tracking, attribution, optimization, and performance reporting.
  • Significant experience with email and lifecycle marketing, including improving open rates, managing campaign calendars, segmentation, nurture strategy, and conversion performance.
  • Experience leading creative teams across video, design, campaign creative, social, and brand execution.
  • Strong process orientation with experience building workflows, operating rhythms, dashboards, and accountability systems in a fast-moving environment.

  • Experience in a challenger brand, smaller high-growth company, lifestyle brand, prestige professional services brand, membership, coaching, events, or community-driven business strongly preferred.
  • Scrappy, resourceful builder with the ability to scale marketing in environments where the sale is complex, trust-based, or difficult.
