Job Summary

Paradigm Oral Health is seeking a Vice President to lead the Paradigm Innovation Institute (Pi2), the organization's education and training division. Pi2 is responsible for onboarding new surgeons, supporting practice growth for newly opened locations, training front office and business teams, educating referring dentists, and delivering continuing education programs, including a strategic partnership with a leading academic medical institution.

This role owns Pi2 as both a business and an operation: the programming calendar, physical and staffing infrastructure, growth strategy, academic partnership, and the development of new revenue streams. The ideal candidate has experience building or running a training institute, academic program, or large-scale professional education operation, along with the business acumen to grow it as a commercial business.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Own the operational delivery of clinical onboarding for incoming surgeons, including scheduling, cohort structure, facilities, materials, and sequencing, in partnership with clinical education leadership.
  • Own delivery of business onboarding curriculum for newly opened practices, covering how to open, staff, market, and grow a new location.
  • Coordinate onboarding boot camps before and after new practice openings, with cohorts grouped by opening timeline.
  • Ensure new surgeons and practice teams experience one coherent, well-sequenced onboarding program that integrates clinical and business training.
  • Support annual conferences and clinical events as candidate engagement opportunities, including invitations and hosting.
  • Protect the Institute's proprietary programs, content, and intellectual property.
  • Own the operational engine behind referring-dentist education, including the courses that build the knowledge and skills providers need.
  • Build the infrastructure and content library that allows individual practices to execute a consistent annual referral education curriculum.
  • Track referring-dentist attendance and engagement, and share that data with practice leadership as an indicator of practice health.
  • Own programming for front office, treatment coordinator, and business team development, in partnership with operations leadership on execution standards.
  • Build repeatable curriculum for roles that most directly affect practice performance, including phone conversion, scheduling, insurance verification, treatment coordination, and patient flow.
  • Coordinate training schedules with operations to avoid conflicts with practice coverage needs.
  • Develop the Institute's potential as a commercial business, including paid courses, digital content, subscriptions, and sponsorships for surgeons and dentists.
  • Own end-to-end operations of the Institute's facilities, including surgical, lab, and educational space: staffing, equipment, and the master programming calendar across all audiences.
  • Manage the day-to-day academic partnership that supports the Institute's credibility and content quality, escalating major matters to executive leadership as needed.
  • Manage the master calendar as a capacity-planning function, sequencing competing priorities across multiple audiences and facility needs.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Senior leadership experience building and running an education institute, academic program, or large-scale professional training operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex programming calendar across multiple audiences, including the judgment to prioritize when capacity is limited.
  • Commercial experience developing course, digital, subscription, or sponsorship revenue.
  • Ability to partner effectively with clinical and subject-matter experts, translating their expertise into well-produced programming.
  • Experience managing a significant physical facility and its operations, including clinical or lab space.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with experience representing an organization to external institutional partners.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Preferred Skills/Abilities
  • Background in dental, oral surgery, or specialty healthcare education.
  • Experience managing academic or clinical partnerships with outside institutions.
  • Experience in a multi-location or multi-site healthcare organization.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in education, business, or healthcare administration preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in education, training, or program management, ideally within healthcare or a professional services environment.
  • Proven track record leading teams and managing multi-stakeholder initiatives at scale.
