DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to design and develop software for global payment processing platform. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience designing advanced coding and performing unit test for code developed in Java, Springboot, Kafka, SQL, Cloud, and Unix/Linux Scripting; designing distributed systems and developing applications using Java and Spring Boot for high-volume transaction systems; implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka and message queues to support real-time data flows and system integration; developing cloud financial services leveraging Azure and GCP cloud platforms and event driven modular microservices architectures; designing and integrating RESTful APIs for secure interaction across scalable distributed systems and financial platforms; utilizing Unix/Linux scripting for automation, monitoring, and operational support of applications; building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins to support controlled releases and compliance-driven deployments; implementing software quality and testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and functional testing; providing production support across application, middleware, messaging, and database layers, including performing root-cause analysis and resolution of complex system issues; designing and maintaining custom monitoring dashboards to visualize application metrics, logs, and traces, for troubleshooting, performance tuning, and operational visibility; in the execution of duties, utilizing Java, Spring Boot, C, Maven, REST, cloud platforms, Unix/Linux scripting, Informix, SQL, Kafka, Google BigQuery, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB (MongoDB), ESQL, 4GL, COBOL, Perl, React.js, Node.js, Python, Resource Manager, crontab, Tomcat, DB2, Cassandra, Teradata, ZFAM, Azure, Oracle, PL/SQL, AWS, Sybase, .NET, Splunk, CI/CD pipelines, JIRA, Git, Team forge, CVS, SCCS, Looper, Concord, Swagger, SonarQube, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and TeamCity.
