Location: Southern California
Compensation: $170,000 to $195,000 annually
Company Overview: We are an industry-leading residential and commercial home services company based in Southern California. We are actively hiring a Human Resources Director to partner with our executive team. We operate with heart and ethics, focusing on transparent and fair practices for our team and customers alike.
Position Summary: The Human Resources Director is responsible for building a high-performing workplace and managing comprehensive HR risk. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employment claims and agency complaints, coordinate with outside counsel, and escalate litigation matters to ownership. Additionally, you will lead our HR team and optimize our HRIS workflows to improve automation and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of HR experience (3+ years in leadership).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in CA employment law, leaves, accommodations, and discipline.
  • Experience overseeing payroll controls.
  • Strong communication and judgment skills.
  • Experience with platforms like Rippling or ServiceTitan preferred.
