Position Overview

Isuzu North America Corporation (INAC) seeks a VP Corporate Development INAC & VP Corporate Planning ICTA to conduct and oversee competitive benchmarking, industry research, and market trend analysis. Stay informed of market developments to identify and seize new opportunities, ensuring the Isuzu Group can respond effectively to emerging demands in North America. Formulate short-, medium-, and long-term business plans while continuously monitoring the business environment to adapt strategies as necessary for optimal results. Identify business trends and areas for improvement to inform operational and strategic decisions. Manages the company's strategic alliances and partnerships, including collaborations with General Motors and Cummins, and identifies additional opportunities for strategic alliances and growth initiatives essential to the company's success. Establish objectives and navigate challenges to achieve alignment with overall corporate objectives. Translate insights into actionable recommendations for leadership. Lead the development and execution of strategic plans for the Company. Manage the annual strategic planning cycle, including goal setting, initiative prioritization, and progress tracking. Maintain and update multi-year financial models and conduct scenario planning to assess potential risks and opportunities. Develop clear, concise, and insightful presentations for the executive team and board of directors. Serve as a thought partner to senior executives, offering analytical support and strategic recommendations.ย

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • Fifteen (15) years of experience in the job offered or fifteen (15) years of experience as a Strategy Consultant, Business Planner, or related occupation. Requires experience in Infrastructure Technology solutions, DevOps, or cloud technologies.
  • Requires fluency in Japanese.
  • Requires experience in the automotive sector to develop company strategy.
  • Requires experience with long-range corporate planning and market forecasting.
  • Requires experience with financial modeling and business analytics.
  • Requires experience with business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Requires experience with M&A evaluation.

Remote work permitted pursuant to companyโ€™s Work Hours Policy. Pay for this position is $215,274ย to $285,237. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
