The VP, National Installation  is responsible for aligning and optimizing our installation planning and execution functions to ensure high levels of efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. This role will oversee installation backlog management and forecasting, demand and supply planning, procurement, inventory management, fleet management, facility management (leases), and subcontractor relationships. The National Installation Leader will ensure that each area works together seamlessly to support business goals, minimize costs, and improve overall operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Installation Planning and Execution:

    • Drive processes to ensure installation work is prioritized, resourced, and progressing in alignment with customer commitments and business objectives.
    • Develop and maintain installation forecasting models that inform capacity planning, resource allocation, and revenue projections in partnership with sales, operations, and finance.
    • Working with Region Leaders, ensure Install performance delivers to Budget across the markets and overall enterprise.
    • Evolve Best Practice for Project Management and drive adherence and training.
    • Partner with learning and development to design and deliver skills development and training programs for field technicians and project managers, building a high-performing installation workforce with bench strength and succession planning.

Demand and Supply Planning:

    • Lead the development of integrated demand and supply planning processes to ensure optimal service delivery.
    • Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand accurately and align supply chain strategies to meet customer needs.
    • Utilize data analytics and market insights to optimize inventory levels and resource allocation.

Procurement Management:

    • Oversee procurement strategy, driving cost efficiencies and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts to support business objectives.
    • Implement best practices in sourcing and supplier management to reduce risks and improve cost-effectiveness.

Inventory Management:

    • Design and execute strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs.
    • Implement systems to track and manage inventory efficiently, reducing waste and ensuring equipment availability.
    • Collaborate with finance and operations to develop metrics for inventory turns and stock optimization.

Fleet Management:

    • Oversee the management of the company's fleet, ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance with safety standards.
    • Implement technologies and processes to improve fleet utilization, reduce fuel consumption, and extend vehicle lifecycles.

Facility Management – Leases:

    • Manage company leases for operational facilities, ensuring alignment with business growth and cost optimization.
    • Lead negotiations on new leases and renegotiate existing agreements to achieve the best financial outcomes for the business.

Subcontractor Management:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
    • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability for subcontractors to align with company objectives.
    • Ensure that subcontractors meet the company’s standards for safety, security, and quality.

Financial and Operational Impact:

    • Drive financial performance through operational efficiencies and cost reductions across planning, procurement, and resource management.
    • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success in each area and ensure continuous improvement.
    • Work closely with the COO and CFO to align operational planning with financial goals and contribute to the overall profitability of the organization.

Leadership and Collaboration:

    • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments (sales, operations, finance) to align business strategies and operations.
    • Ensure effective communication of operational goals and performance across the organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP Preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt advanced professional certification preferred.
  • Security Technology Industry Experience Preferred (Access Control, Identity Management, Video Monitoring) 
  • 10+ years of experience in Security, Manages Service, supply chain, operations, or integrated business planning roles, with 5+ years in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of demand and supply planning, procurement, inventory management, fleet management, and facility management.
  • Proven track record of driving operational efficiencies and cost savings in a complex, multi-faceted organization.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with subcontractors and managing external relationships.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and data analytics to drive decision-making.
