We are currently looking for a Vice President (VP), HR Business Partners to join our team.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the VP, HR Business Partners, is responsible for providing Human Resource (HR) leadership with the goal to align human resource initiatives with enterprise and business unit strategies. The position consults with senior business leaders to drive key people initiatives with a hands-on, collaborative approach. This role is a key point of contact, trusted advisor and sounding board for the business leadership team.
This role is accountable for developing and executing Human Resource programs and initiatives in a dynamic environment while advocating use of best practices and progressive, cost-effective methodologies. The VP leads a team of HR Business Partners, working in partnership with the business, to effectively manage Employee Relations, facilitation of HR & Workplace Policies, Performance and Talent Management. This includes policy administration, regulatory compliance, data capture, reporting, measures and metrics for HR in these areas and for related programs.
The VP works across the HR Function on enterprise initiatives, providing a depth of expertise and a broad organizational perspective to ensure consistency and alignment to the company's goals, culture, values and future organizational requirements. The position manages and mentors the HR Business Partner Team, providing training, coaching, guidance, and transfer of expertise to deepen the knowledge and skill base of the Human Resource organization overall.
Keys to success in this position are the ability to balance strategic planning with real-time execution, effective influencing skills and strong business/ financial acumen. A broad base of experience across Human Resources is required. The contributions and outcomes from this role and the HR Business Partner Team will inform strategies to evolve and enhance the employee experience and culture at Fay.
Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field required; MBA or Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years' progressive experience in Human Resources in a business partner capacity to include developing and leading core HR processes
  • 7+ years' experience managing people/ leading teams to include the acquisition and allocation of resources, performance management, and talent development
  • Direct experience supporting diverse business functions; financial services industry experience preferred
  • Previous experience driving change within small to mid-size companies preferred
  • Prior experience leading policy development and process/ workflow reviews
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience leading initiatives across a distributed organization structure, requiring effective management of diverse stakeholders
  • Thorough knowledge of federal/ state employment laws and regulatory requirements
  • Depth of experience with HRIS platforms, ADP/ UltiPro/ UKG HRIS experience a plus
  • Strong skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong technical and financial acumen
  • Strength of leadership with proven ability to foster an environment of positive employee engagement and trust
  • Executive maturity with demonstrated ability to quickly establish credibility; coupled with for recognizing and supporting the organization's culture, values and priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization to influence and drive required results

Compensation
  • The hiring range for this position is between $150,000.00-$180,000.00 annually
  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
