Hunden Partners is experiencing exciting growth, and we are looking for a Vice President of Development Advisory to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to play a leadership role in shaping major real estate and public-private development projects across the country, from mixed-use districts and entertainment venues to convention centers and sports facilities.

As a key member of our Development Advisory team, you will guide clients through the complex pre-development process, helping them structure, negotiate, and execute major real estate projects. This position requires expertise in public-private partnerships, project finance, and large-scale development, as well as the ability to collaborate with high-level stakeholders including public officials, developers, architects, and financial institutions.

This role is designed for a seasoned leader with deep experience in real estate development and project execution. For the right candidate, an SVP role may be considered.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $170,000 – $200,000 Dependent on experience
Quarterly Bonus: Based on personal and Firm performance
Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with company match

What You’ll Do
  • Lead & Advise – Manage multiple client projects, providing strategic direction from pre-development through execution.
  • Structure Complex Deals – Guide clients in identifying the best development approach, structuring financing agreements, and negotiating key project components.
  • Build Relationships – Act as a trusted advisor to public and private stakeholders, ensuring successful collaboration across all project participants.
  • Drive Project Success – Work closely with internal teams to support feasibility studies, financial analysis, and market research, ensuring that projects are positioned for implementation.
  • Represent the Firm – Attend industry conferences, panels, and networking events, strengthening Hunden’s role as a thought leader in real estate development advisory.
  • Mentor & Lead – Provide guidance and support to Project Managers and Analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge transfer and professional growth.
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in public-private real estate development, project management, and finance.
  • Deep expertise in large-scale mixed-use, convention center, sports, entertainment, and hospitality projects.
  • Proven ability to navigate both public and private sector development and work across government agencies, private developers, and financial institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate feasibility analysis, deal structuring, and public-private financing tools.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and high-profile projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage at all levels—from city officials and developers to architects and investors.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and feasibility analysis (direct modeling experience a plus).
Why Hunden Partners?

Hunden Partners is a fast-growing, innovative consulting firm that specializes in guiding transformational public-private real estate projects. Our team operates in a high-energy, collaborative environment, where entrepreneurial thinking is valued, and every team member plays a key role in shaping high-impact developments.

For the right candidate, this position offers an exciting opportunity for career growth and the potential for SVP-level consideration based on experience and contributions.

Interested? Let’s Talk!

If you have the experience, leadership skills, and passion for complex real estate development projects, we encourage you to apply.

Not sure if you align perfectly with this role? If you bring significant leadership experience beyond the VP level, we’d still love to hear from you.
