Job description

Vice President, Field Operations

Location: Ontario (Heavy Field Presence Required)
Compensation: $165,000 – $195,000 Base + Performance Bonus

We are founder-led consumer lending platform operating 78 retail locations across Ontario, alongside a growing digital lending channel.

Our business model is straightforward: revenue is generated from daily accrued interest on our principal portfolio balance. If the portfolio does not grow and perform, nothing else matters.

We are seeking a Vice President, Field Operations to lead disciplined portfolio growth and elevate execution across our entire retail network.

The Mandate

This role owns the performance of all 78 branches.

The primary objective:

Drive sustained portfolio growth while ensuring consistent operational execution and compliance across the network.

Key areas of accountability include:

  • Net portfolio growth and principal balance expansion
  • Branch-level sales execution and approved-loan conversion rates
  • Call handling standards and lead follow-up discipline
  • Customer experience consistency and store presentation standards
  • Collections execution at the branch level
  • Manager accountability and performance enforcement
  • Installation of measurable weekly operating cadence

This role reports directly to the Founder.

This is not a strategy-only position.
This is a performance-driven executive mandate with full network accountability.

What Success Looks Like (12 Months)

Within the first year, this leader will:

  • Increase principal portfolio balance across the network
  • Improve approved-loan take rates and sales conversion metrics
  • Install structured weekly KPI review rhythms across all regions
  • Strengthen branch-level collections discipline
  • Raise store-level accountability and reduce performance variability
  • Develop stronger Regional and Store Manager bench strength

How You Get Paid

We believe in measurable performance, not discretionary bonuses.

The performance bonus will be tied to:

  • Net portfolio growth targets
  • Sales conversion improvement across approved applications
  • Portfolio at Risk (PAR) performance thresholds
  • Branch audit pass rates and operational compliance

High performers who materially improve the portfolio and execution discipline will be materially rewarded.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are targeting candidates who are either:

  • A Regional / VP-level operator ready to take full-network accountability
    or
  • A Director-level leader prepared to step into a VP mandate

Preferred backgrounds:

  • Consumer lending (strongly preferred)
  • Financial services
  • Payments
  • Multi-unit retail with strong revenue accountability

Candidates must have:

  • 8+ years of multi-location operations leadership
  • Direct P&L ownership
  • Experience driving measurable revenue growth across dispersed teams
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational KPIs
  • Comfort operating in a high-accountability environment

Leadership Characteristics

The right candidate:

  • Treats portfolio growth as the primary scoreboard
  • Understands that approvals do not equal revenue — execution does
  • Holds Managers accountable for both sales and collections output
  • Is comfortable making difficult performance decisions
  • Leads from the field, not from behind a desk
  • Thrives in a founder-led, fast-moving environment

Why Join Us

This is a rare opportunity to step into full-network executive accountability in a scaling financial services platform.

You will have the authority to shape field performance, the visibility to influence company direction, and the compensation structure to participate directly in the upside you create.
