Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a VP- SYSTEM SUPPLY CHAIN to join our SUPPLY CHAIN team!
Working closely with the Senior Vice President of Finance/CFO, the Vice President - System Supply Chain is responsible for optimizing key supply chain operational processes and systems. Develop policies and cost containment strategies to standardize key aspects of supply chain operations. Coordinates supply chain activities to include procurement and logistics programs across the system. She/he provides administrative leadership and oversight to all aspects of the supply chain. In addition, overseas the clinical engineering program at Aspirus ensuring all aspects of this program is carried out according to standards. Responsibilities include the analytic review and support of Value Analysis activities to ensure cost effective and efficient delivery of medical surgical supplies, capital equipment, clinical preference supplies and purchased services. Develop partner relationships with key vendors, manufacturers and group purchasing organizations to improve quality and efficiency of the overall supply chain. Oversee the administrative supervision, management, and effectiveness of the overall daily supply chain operations to include direct oversight and leadership of multiple System level Supply Chain Directors, Managers, and staff.
Experience/Qualifications
  • Knowledge of hospital management and policy administration, as well as development and implementation of budgets, financial strategies and standards normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' supply chain leadership experience in a healthcare setting and at least 10 years' total supply chain experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Service oriented, strategic leader with demonstrated quantitative, technical, and financial expertise.
  • Proven track record of performance improvement and project management skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Able to be successful in a fast-paced, high-tension, heavy workload environment with ever- changing priorities.
