Position Summary
The company is seeking to add a Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence. This role is responsible for ensuring operational execution consistently meets and exceeds standards in customer service, safety, quality, operational excellence, and financial performance.
The successful candidate will leverage and implement tools, tactics, and processes that directly influence above-plan performance, with a strong focus on labor management, workforce optimization, and process standardization. You are expected to set ambitious standards and drive disciplined execution across the organization.
The Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence is a transformational and results-driven operations leader who builds structure, drives accountability, and delivers measurable performance improvement. This individual operates with a hands-on approach, strengthening administrative and financial discipline while improving consistency in execution.
This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and offers significant opportunity to grow into broader corporate leadership responsibilities based on demonstrated impact and results.
Reporting Structure
The Senior Vice President, Operational Excellence reports to the Chief Operating Officer and partners closely with regional and field leadership teams, as well as finance and operational support functions.
Core Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent execution of operational standards across all locations, driving performance in labor, service delivery, and financial outcomes
  • Establish and reinforce disciplined daily and weekly labor management processes that enable field leaders to effectively manage their teams and performance
  • Develop and implement repeatable operating playbooks that simplify execution and support regional leadership in achieving business objectives
  • Drive workforce strategy aligned to operational demand, ensuring leaders have the talent, structure, and visibility needed to meet their goals
  • Support regional and field leadership in optimizing labor performance across both revenue-generating and baseline contractual work
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in scheduling, utilization, and workflow execution to improve team productivity and operational clarity
  • Build and refine structured workflows, system utilization, and reporting frameworks that give leaders clear visibility into performance and actionable insights
  • Establish tracking mechanisms that connect operational activities directly to financial and margin outcomes
  • Monitor key performance indicators and support leaders in driving accountability through data-informed decision-making
  • Provide hands-on leadership in priority situations to stabilize performance and support teams in achieving operational targets
  • Partner closely with operations leadership to remove barriers, improve execution, and enable teams to deliver consistent results
  • Collaborate with Operations Finance and internal teams to drive initiatives tied to cost control, efficiency, and margin improvement
  • Support enterprise-wide operational excellence initiatives and strategic priorities while ensuring alignment at the field level
