The SVP, Operations is a Dallas-based senior leader responsible for operating and improving critical backโoffice functions supporting Triumph's Audit & Payments business.
This role will lead highโvolume and exceptionโbased workflows with a focus on service quality, productivity, scalability, risk mitigation, and expense discipline.
The leader will develop accountable operations managers, build decisionโready performance visibility, and partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Treasury, Fraud, and Customer Success to modernize work through practical process improvement, AI, automation, and tooling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead dayโtoโday execution and transformation of backโoffice functions supporting Audit & Payments, aligning service, quality, risk, productivity, and expense outcomes with business needs.
- Redesign highโvolume and exceptionโbased workflows by making work visible, clarifying ownership and handoffs, and reducing avoidable rework, delays, manual effort, and customer friction.
- Build operating metrics and review cadences that connect activity to outcomes, including SLA performance, backlog aging, throughput, capacity, quality, unit cost, risk mitigation, and customer value.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and AI/automation resources to translate operational needs into practical improvements and business cases.
- Lead distributed and offshore teams through managers and team leads, setting clear expectations for productivity, quality, coaching, accountability, and morale.
- Strengthen crossโfunctional execution with Treasury, Fraud, Customer Success, and other partners by resolving ownership gaps, escalation paths, and decision needs.
- Present concise, decisionโready performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement, practical innovation, operational discipline, and respectful accountability.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
The successful candidate will possess senior operations leadership experience with measurable improvement in complex, peopleโandโprocess intensive environments.
Ideal experience includes: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Operations, or other related field required; advanced degree preferred.
8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, including leadership of complex, highโvolume, backโoffice, sharedโservices, financial services, logistics, BPO, revenueโcycle, or comparable operational environments.
Demonstrated success improving service levels, quality, productivity, expense scalability, controls, and customer outcomes in a measurable way.
Experience leading workflow redesign, rootโcause analysis, operating cadence development, and performance management in knowledgeโwork or transactionโprocessing environments.
Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Data, and automation/AI teams to prioritize improvements based on operational value and business impact.
Experience managing distributed, offshore/nearshore, vendorโsupported, or lowโcost labor models, preferably through managers or team leads.
